Features
Your whole server, in one app
From the first connection to your app going live: Coxios sets up, secures, deploys and monitors your VPS. You approve each step, it types the commands.
Connection and servers
Add a brand-new VPS or a server you already use. Coxios connects over SSH and installs nothing on it.
New VPS or existing server
Use the IP and password from your hosting provider, or your SSH key on an existing server that Coxios simply imports to monitor.
Import from ~/.ssh/config
Coxios finds the SSH shortcuts already on your computer and offers to import them in one click.
SSH keys handled for you
Generate an ed25519 key, install it on a server, see which servers use it. Passphrases stay in your system keychain.
Real server state
A check reads what actually runs: users, groups, firewall, Docker, SSH backup. Gaps are explained in plain words.
One-click terminal, if you want it
Never required, always there: a button opens an SSH session with the right key, even after hardening.
All your servers side by side
One dashboard per server: overview, applications, services, security, users, monitoring and logs.
Setup assistant
A fresh VPS goes from a bare install to a production-ready server, one step at a time.
Workspace
Deployment folders are created and kept in one place.
Protected user
A dedicated account with admin rights and your SSH key, so you stop working as root.
Hardened SSH
Root login and passwords turned off, only after your explicit confirmation.
Firewall
ufw or firewalld depending on your distribution, only useful ports stay open.
Hardened kernel
Safe network settings (sysctl) against SYN floods and IP spoofing.
Fail2ban
Bots trying passwords in a loop get blocked automatically.
Docker and Compose
Installed and configured, with logs that won't fill up the disk.
Automatic updates
System security patches install themselves.
You stay in control at every step
Before each step, Coxios explains what it will do and shows you the exact commands. Nothing runs without your approval.
If a step doesn't suit you, you can undo it. If setup is interrupted (network drop, laptop closed), it resumes where it stopped. And if your server runs a control panel like cPanel or Plesk, Coxios detects it and stops rather than breaking your setup.
Apps and deployment
Deploy from a catalog of ready-made apps or from your own Git repository.
App catalog
WordPress, Vaultwarden, Plausible, n8n, Nextcloud, Supabase and more: fill in a few fields, Coxios does the rest.
Deploy from Git
GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Gitea: public repo, access token, read-only deploy key, or a GitHub App with short-lived tokens.
Stack detection
Next.js, NestJS, Express, Fastify, FastAPI, Flask, Django, Go: Coxios recognizes your project and generates the right Dockerfile.
Redeploy on every push
A signed webhook redeploys your app when you push to the chosen branch. Deployment history stays available.
Ports checked first
Coxios inspects the server before deploying and warns you if the port you picked is already taken.
Editable variables and compose
Change environment variables or the compose file: Coxios keeps a backup and restores the old one if the new one fails.
Domains and HTTPS
A domain in a few clicks
Coxios tells you which DNS record to create at your registrar, then checks that it points to your server.
Automatic HTTPS
Caddy gets and renews Let's Encrypt certificates on its own. You see their expiry date in the app.
Your existing proxy respected
Nginx, Traefik or Nginx Proxy Manager already there? Coxios detects them and won't overwrite them. Every proxy change is backed up and validated before reload.
Monitoring and logs
Live resources
CPU, memory, disk, swap and uptime, with alert thresholds you set yourself.
Desktop alerts
A notification when the disk fills up, memory runs out or a service goes down.
Live logs
Container and system logs streaming, with filtering and a pause that never drops lines.
Docker containers
Start, stop, restart and inspect the containers on each server.
Continuous security
Firewall, fail2ban, open ports, certificates: what runs all the time is read from the server and summed up in one sentence.
Command log
Every SSH command Coxios sends shows up in real time. You always know what was done on your server.
Users and team
Server accounts
Create and delete users, grant or remove admin rights, manage their groups and SSH keys.
Rights explained
Coxios warns you when a group grants full power, and stops you from cutting off the account it uses itself.
Organization and roles
From your account area, invite teammates into your organization and give them a role.
Built for your comfort
Desktop app
Available on macOS, signed and notarized by Apple. Windows and Linux are on the way.
App lock
Protect the app with Touch ID or a code, and ask again before irreversible actions.
English and French
The whole interface, error messages included, in your language.
Automatic updates
Coxios updates itself: a banner tells you when the new version is ready.
From zero to live
The typical path for a VPS you just rented.

- 3
Pick your app
Take one from the catalog or connect your Git repository: Coxios detects your stack.
